More power! Enrique Razon talks expansion in Iloilo visit

Ultra bilyonaryo Enrique Razon recently visited Iloilo to discuss MORE Power’s province-wide expansion.

Accompanied by MORE Power executives, Razon met with Iloilo Governor Arthur “Toto” Defensor Jr. to discuss plans to bring electricity to more households in Iloilo.

MORE Power initially cornered a franchise to distribute power in Iloilo City. The company took over the scope of Panay Electric Co. in 2020.

Republic Act 11918, which was recently signed into law, expanded the coverage of MORE Power to the second and fourth districts of Iloilo.

To serve more customers, the Razon-owned firm has started construction of a substation in Mandurriao that will have a 30-megavolt ampere power transformer.
