CAAP has issued separate notices seeking bidders to provide services for the expansion of airports in Vigan, Baler, Roxas and Virac.

It is bidding out consultancy services for the appraisal of land and land improvement, including crops and trees, for the expansion of Baler Airport.

CAAP has expressed its support for Transportation Secretary Jaime Bautista and President Bongbong Marcos’ united commitment to modernize the country’s airports, saying this will benefit not only tourism and connectivity but also the country’s economic growth.

It alson intends to continue its efforts to enable more airports to be capable of night-time take-off and landing to allow more flights and longer operating hours in regional airports.

Seven more airports will be equipped with the necessary facilities to operate night-time flights.
