Metrobank’s C-Suite executive buys P2.4M shares

Metropolitan Bank and Trust Co.’s (MBT) controller has doubled his shares in the bank.

MBT senior vice president Renato K. De Borja, Jr. acquired 50,000 MBT shares at P46.54 on July 21.

De Borja, who joined MBT in 2020, has a total of 100,000 shares.

The 50-year old used to be the chief finance officer of East West Bank (2009 to 2016) and China Banks group head of remittance, cards and contact center (2016 to 2020).
