Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) president Margie Moran Floirendo believes that “Culture is Life’s Best Expression.”
Even when she was much younger, she has already immersed herself in traditional Philippine culture. She took a photo with T’boli weavers in Lake Sebu, South Cotabato.
She visited the workspace of Tinalak weavers. She spearheaded CCP’s animation project, “Mga Kuwento ni Lola Basyang.” She also saw in person a Torogan home in Lake Sebu.
Margie has always been fascinated with Philippine craftsmanship, arts and cuisine.
She’s a very inquisitive person and will continue to be curious for the rest of her life.
