BDO Leasing and Finance Inc. (BLFI) chaired by ultra bilyonaryo Tessie Sy has accepted the resignation of former Energy Secretary Vince Perez.
Shrugging off market woes, Vince Perez’s Alternergy files for P2.2B IPO
The 63-year old former Wall Street investment banker has been independent director of BLFI since 2017.
Perez was replaced by BDO Unibank consultant Rebacca Torres as non-executive director starting July 13.
He is the fifth BLFI director to leave the board since May 2021.
After junking the P5 billion backdoor listing offer of a a group led by the nephew of Philippine Stock Exchange director Vivian Yuchengco, Sy has decided to convert BLFI into another holding firm of her family with a new name, Dominion Holdings.
