Ayala Land Inc. (ALI) has spent P2.268 billion for condominium, industrial park and subdivision projects in the second quarter of 2022.
ALI used up 68 percent of the P3.444 billion it raised from the sale of 87.37 million AREIT shares in May this year.
The biggest outlay is P1.25 billion for the purchase of land in the ALI-ETON township project in Pasig and Quezon City, a 50-50 joint venture with ultra bilyonaryo Lucio Tan.
ALI released P745 million for the purchase of land in Batangas, which will be developed by Laguna Technopark Inc., and another P108 million to buy real estate in Cavite.
It pumped in P99 million for the on-going construction of its 43-storey corporate tower One Vertis Plaza in QC.
ALI also shoveled P66.2 million for the on-going development of the 49.3-hectare Andacillo residential project in Canlubang, Laguna.
