International Container Terminal Services Inc. (ICTSI) is set to provide eco-efficient solutions to users of the Port of Rio de Janeiro in Brazil following its partnership with logistic operator Tracker Logistica.
ICTSI said it entered into agreements with Brazil’s Tracker Logistica to transform subsidiary, IRB Logistica Ltda., into iTracker Logistica Inteligente.
iTracker will be 70 percent owned by a subsidiary of ICTSI while the remaining 30 percent will owned by Tracker Logistica.
Among the services it will provide are empty container depot, export container freight station, general warehousing, distribution center, and road and railway transportation.
ICTSI said iTracker would benefit from the combination of its expertise, tradition, and strength as a global port operator, and Tracker Logistica’s local knowledge, flexibility, and agility.
