KonsultaMD at your service: Ayalas roll out new healthcare super app

The Ayala Group is consolidating its three telehealth applications to come up with a new one-stop full service health super app targeted for launch by the first quarter of next year.

Ayala Healthcare Holdings Inc. and Globe’s corporate venture builder 917Ventures agreed to merge KonsultaMD, HealthNow and AIDE applications in one super app to be known as the new KonsultaMD.

KonsultaMD, which serves teleconsultations, is considered as the dominant player in teleconsultations with over one million members and a retail network of over 50,000 outlets.

HealthNow, which serves medicine deliveries, and AIDE, which serves laboratory tests and home care, have grown their user base to over one million in the past two years.

“By combining the strengths of each of the three entities, I am excited to see
the new KonsultaMD support AC Health’s vision of an integrated healthcare
ecosystem,” AC Health president and CEO Paolo Borromeo said.

Cholo Tagaysay, who has presided over KonsultaMD the past two years, will be the CEO of the consolidated entity, while Beia Latay, who served as HealthNow CEO, will be COO of the new KonsultaMD.
