Issue has been resolved: Aboitiz family’s UnionBank restores ATM, InstaPay services after connectivity issue with BancNet

Union Bank of the Philippines said it has resolved a technical glitch which has prevented customers from withdrawing cash, and assured that depositors can resume all banking activities.

“Last Friday, July 8, 2022, some of our customers’ ability to withdraw money via ATM and receive funds via InstaPay was affected by a systems connectivity issue with our partner, BancNet.

Service was completely restored in collaboration with BancNet within the same day and we were able to immediately credit affected customers within 24 hours,” said the banking arm of the Aboitiz family.
