PAL to passengers traveling on June 30: Allot extra time due to road closures

Ultra bilyonaryo Lucio Tan’s Philippine Airlines (PAL) is advising its passengers to allot extra time for their travel to the the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) due to road closures in Manila.

A number of roads have been closed as part of security preparations for the Presidential inauguration activities on June 30.

PAL said passengers should expect high volume of vehicles passing by detour areas.

“We wish to remind you to leave your homes early to avoid missing your flight,” the airline said.

Padre Burgos Avenue, Finance Road, and Maria Orosa St. from TM Kalaw to Padre Burgos General Luna St. from Padre Burgos-Muralla St. will remain closed until 11 p.m. of June 30.

Ayala Boulevard and Victoria Street from Taft Avenue to Muralla Street, meanwhile, will also be closed to traffic on June 30 from 4 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Roads near Malacañang and the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) in Pasay City will also be closed.
