A wholly owned unit of Discovery World Corp. of the Tiu family has unveiled plans to develop the first luxury real estate project of its kind in Davao.
In a regulatory filing, Discovery World said it expects to generate P7 billion in real estate sales from an 11-hectare integrated urban community in Davao City.
The project, which will be undertaken by One Davao Townships Corp., will boast of generous land cuts in a spacious yet private area.

About 42 percent of the West Village will be dedicated to open spaces and amenities for upscale living.
While the West Village provides a suburban aura, the East Village, with its mixed- use and commercial spaces, promises a leisure hub with all desirable necessities within arms’ reach.
Discovery World, the developer of upscale hotel and resort properties, will develop a 162-villa resort in Davao del Norte in partnership with Samal Shores Inc.
The group plans to build more townships and resorts to spur faster growth.
It has ventured into the hostel industry withers lifestyle and millennial-focused brand, Kip & Kin. The three pipeline locations for the brand are El Nido and San Vicente in Palawan, and Siargao.
