Long lines greet new franchise replacing Mcdonald’s in Russia

Russia’s new fast food franchise looks to be a smashing success.
After McDonald’s packed up its bags and stopped doing business in Russia amid its ongoing conflict with Ukraine, fans of the franchise welcomed a new version of the fast food with Vkusno i tochka (Delicious, Full Stop). It could also translate to” Tasty, that’s it”).
The new food establishment is expected to take over what’s left of Mcdonald’s branches in the country in the coming days.
On the grand opening of the new fastfood outlet at Pushkin Square, long lines greeted the establishment, according to a post by Al Jazeera.

Journalist Mike Eckel, in his tweet, translated the new slogan of fast food as “The name has changed but the love hasn’t.”

It was earlier reported that following Mcdonald’s exit from Russia, the restaurants were taken over by businessman Alexander Govor.
