Converge ICT Solutions Inc. has advised its subscribers to be wary of social media posts offering discounted bill payments and asking for account details.
Converge reiterated in an advisory that these are not official promos from the company, saying that official promos can be easily verified through its official social media pages.
The company has also urged its subscribers to not share their Converge account and other personal details, as doing so may bring about unauthorized access to their various online accounts.
Such may lead to monetary or data theft, Converge said.
The company said customers may contact Converge ICT Support to report suspicious posts, emails or text messages.
Converge, which has over 1.8 million subscribers as of end-March, gave free speed upgrades starting this month to new and existing subscribers of its base plan as part of its commitment of providing world-class ICT services to Filipinos.
