Cebu Pacific to move MCIA domestic flights to new terminal starting June 16

Gokongwei-led budget carrier Cebu Pacific said all domestic flights at the Mactan Cebu International Airport (MCIA) would be transferred to Terminal 1 starting June 16.
Cebu Pacific said all affected passengers had been notified.
As for those who booked through a travel agent or any other third party, they are encouraged to update their contact details via Cebu Pacific’s Manage Booking portal to receive email notifications on flight reminders and updates.
On July 3, Cebu Pacific will resume its international flights from Cebu, beginning with twice weekly flights to South Korea.

NGO blames drop in aquaculture production on PAP imports ban

Tugon Kabuhayan, a nongovernment organization advocating for food security and sustainable food production, has blamed the decline in aquaculture production in the second quarter on the import ban on processed animal proteins (PAPs) which was recently lifted by the Department of Agriculture.
