AyalaLand Logistics Holdings (ALLHC) is further expanding its footprint in Batangas with the planned development of a techno park targeting light and medium, non-polluting industries from both local and global markets.
In a regulatory filing, ALLHC sad it acquired a 55 hectare property in Padre Garcia, Batangas which it plans to convert into its fifth industrial estate to address the growing demand for industrial real estate in the CALABARZON region.
The park is an hour’s drive from the port of Batangas, an international seaport serving as the alternative to the port of Manila.
ALLHC chief operating officer Patrick C. Avila said the project was in line with the company’s goal of growing its national footprint by increasing its presence in key areas across the country.
It aims to expand its warehouse gross leasable area to 500,000 square meters and create new business platforms by 2025.
This will be second property of ALLHC in the province of Batangas following the acquisition of a ready-built facility with the Light Industry & Science Park in Sto. Tomas last February.
