President-elect Bongbong Marcos and Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas Governor Ben Diokno met Friday night amid rumors that the latter would be his Finance Secretary.

Marcos, who was proclaimed in Congress just hours earlier, and Diokno were at the Manila Polo Club attending the wake of residential Adviser for Legal Affairs (PALA) of Okada Manila chairman Manuel “Lolong” Lazaro, the first Presidential Adviser for Legal Affairs (PALA) of Marcos’ father.
Based on snaps shared by Cainta Mayor Kit Nieto on social media, Marcos shook the hands Diokno with incoming First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos at her side.
