Viewers rule! Lopezes launch interactive channel sans ABS-CBN franchise

The Lopez clan is stepping up its pivot to the digital realm to make up for the absence of a franchise for its crown jewel, ABS-CBN.
The network launched Monday, May 23 its PIE channel, short for Pinoy Interactive Entertainment. It promises to merge traditional and digital offerings, with a promise to let viewers experience and take part in the programs airing.
PIE Channel is a joint project of ABS-CBN with KROMA Entertainment, 917 Ventures, and Beam TV.
ABS-CBN promisesan “immersive” experience via PIE Channel, which means the audience can choose the unfolding plot of a teleserye and participate in concerts.
Apart from Kapamilya actors, social media influencers will also get their virtual spotlight on the PIE digital channel.
Shows will air from 5 a.m. to 2 a.m. daily.
