Abogado Vic Rodriguez has denied social media posts claiming presumptive president Bongbong Marcos had booked the world-class luxury island resort Amanpulo for his victory celebration.
The Marcos spokesperson told TV5’s ” Sa Totoo Lang” on May 16: “Walang ganoong victory celebration and you know, si president-elect Bongbong is an Ilocano (who are known for their thriftiness) not unless meron siyang surprise na ganoon para samin. Pero wala, malayo iyon at ito ay gawa gawa lang nung mga iresponsableng nagpopost sa kanilang social media na malisyoso yung pagpopost.”
Food prices at Amanpulo becomes trending topic on Twitter
“Ako personally unfair kasi pagdating ko dito sa aming tanggapan yung mga staff namin eh nakagayak pandagat, pangbeach at sinisingil ako na may sorpresa daw pala kami at hindi sila nakapaghanda but ready na sila kanina so pati ako nagulat,” he added with sarcasm.
Rodriguez challenged the individuals who posted bogus report to post any proof of booking or payment and they “will get a reply from me.”
