Frank Lao mourns death of beloved mother: She taught me to be honest, caring

Bilyonaryo Frank Lao is grieving the loss of his mother, Wong Lai Chun, who passed away at the age of 93.
In a message to family and friends, the miner and Chinese restaurant tycoon said: “Today (May 13) I lost my mom. She was very dear to me. A mom with a good heart, she taught us to always help people in need. She taught me the value of honesty. She is my beautiful mom.”

Lao said that even in her advanced age, his mother remained hands-on in her philanthropic work such as overseeing the distribution of food packs from San Juan and Manila to other parts of the country.
His mother also donated vaccines to over 8,000 people through the Federation of Filipino Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry and other private corporations.
“We will miss you mom,” said Lao.
