The Department of Transportation (DOTr) is giving itself a pat on the back for infrastructure projects it has undertaken under the Duterte administration.
“In so far as DOTr Build, Build, Build project is concerned, I’d like to give it a very good rating,” DOTr Usec. Giovanni Lopez said in a briefing following the Philippine Economic briefing.
Lopez said the agency is also satisfied with its accomplishments, given the present situation and circumstances.
“But could we have done more? Definitely,” he said.
Had it not been for the pandemic, Lopez said the entire Build, Build, Build program of the Duterte administration would have received “a very excellent rating.”
“Remember that the pandemic took away two years of the supposed six-year term of implementing project. But despite of that, I think the entire Build, Build, Build program on the Duterte’s administration has been doing a very, very good…and we’re really pushing it hard,” Lopez said.
“So I think our rating is very good at this point in time,” he added.
