Shakey’s Pizza Asia Ventures Inc., a leading full-service restaurant chain owned by the Po family, marked a major milestone with the opening of its first outlet in Singapore as part of its ongoing expansion overseas.
The new store, located at Singapore’s renowned retail and lifestyle hub Lucky Plaza Mall along Orchard Road, is Shakey’s fifth overseas, four of which are in the United Arab Emirates.

As we continue to scale up our store network, we hope that this will serve as a springboard for international growth,” said Vicente Gregorio, president and CEO of PIZZA.
The store was franchised to Brenrich Pte. Ltd, a local food court operator in Singapore. The contract, signed in 2021, is good for seven years.
Both locals and the Filipino community will get to enjoy Shakey’s bestseller pizzas in their signature thin crust style as well as the popular mojos and chicken. A
Gregorio said the company is bent on further expanding its footprint abroad to ensure sustained growth.
“The operating environment for the past two years has been tough. We had to make strategic pivots to turn the business around, but all the while, we kept our eyes on the prize – sustainable long-term growth,” said Gregorio.
