Gaming tycoon Charlie “Atong” Ang slammed politikos and a rival businessman for trying to kill online sabong operations ahead of his appearance at a Senate hearing on missing cockfighting enthusiasts.

Ang spoke in a video posted by his company, Pitmasters Live, which carries cockfighting bouts on online platforms and takes bets through the internet.

He started off by blasting negative memes carrying his face, as if to blame him for the gambling addiction of some Pinoys.
“Dalawang grupo lang naman ang gumagawa nito eh. Kung ano-anong pambababoy ang ginagawa,” Ang said in the video.

He again blamed an unnamed rival businessman and politiko for the propaganda.
“Wala na ngang tumataya sa mga illegal gambling mo kundi yang bayan mong takot na takot na sayo. ******* pag hindi kayo iboboto. Hindi ka ba naaawa sa mga tao? Ni hindi ka nga nagbabayad ng tax mo eh,” Ang added in his curse-laden rant. “Hindi ka ba naaawa sa dami ng tinutulungan natin? Sa loob ng ilang taon na may hawak kayo ng gaming na ‘to, hindi ka ba titigil?”

With senators looking to shut down the operations of Pagcor-licensed e-sabong companies, among them his own, Ang said politikos should have a change of mindset and see that the industry is not entirely evil.
“May mga naninira sa amin dito. Bakit tinitingnan niyo yung mga maliliit na kasalanan ng sugal, bakit di niyo tingnan yung sa macro na naitutulong nito?,” the Pitmasters big boss said. “Talaga namang ang sugal hindi mo maiiwasan yan e –– lahat ng moderate, ayos. Lahat ng sobra, masama kasi kumain ka ng konti, masaya yan. ‘Pag kumain ka nang marami, patay ka.”

He again challenged politicians to show what they’ve done to provide help to the people, stressing that Pitmaster Foundation has been providing direct aid to communities in need from its gaming profits.
“Hindi namin ginawa ito para gumawa ng pera. Kayong mga pulitikong ***, mag-isip-isip kayo,” added Ang.
