Bilyonaryo Piki Lopez has plucked a top executive from one of his family’s energy firms to another.
First Gen Corp. chaired by Lopez appointed Jay Joel Soriano as its new vice president and head of strategy and planning starting February 3.
Soriano served the same post in Energy Development Corp., also owned by the Lopez family, from 2019 to 2021.
Soriano is a Management Engineering graduate of Ateneo de Manila University and holds an MBA degree from Harvard University.
