Breaking quarantine protocols doesn’t seem to be an isolated incident in the country these days, with Tourism Secretary Berna Romulo Puyat revealing another Filipino traveler skipped staying at a hotel to chill at home.

In an interview on CNN Philippines’ “The Source” Monday (January 3), Puyat said the quarantine violator proudly posted evidence of her violation on social media.

“She was even posting it on her Instagram stories, very proud ha na she was skipping quarantine,” Puyat said.

“I don’t know why bakit siya nagyayabang… She showed na when she arrived, that night nagpapamasahe na siya sa kanyang condo,” the Tourism chief added.

While Puyat did not identify the quarantine violator, she said information breach has been forwarded to the Department of Interior and Local Government and Bureau of Quarantine.
