Converge customers complain of poor wifi connection, dismal customer service

The Twitter accounts of bilyonaryo Dennis Anthony Uy and his company, Converge ICT, are flooded with complaints over poor fiber internet service, which caused inconvenience to thousands of customers.

Disgruntled subscribers took to social media their fury, finding no one to complain to as the Pampanga-based fiber internet provider’s customer service channels cannot be reached or provide decent responses.

“I’ve been with PLDT, Globe, and a local internet provider but
@Converge_CSU has the worst customer service ever!!! Have I known that it’s impossible for them to resolve my concern, I wouldn’t sign up. I contacted them last Sat and I’m still stuck with basic troubleshooting,” user Lei said in a tweet.

Even Mayor Rex Gatchalian is pissed off, as he’s been on the receiving end of both their dismal service and customer complaints from his fellow Valenzuelanos. Apparently, the city government was being blamed for supposedly not allowing Converge to fix their lines during daytime.

“Converge is just finding scapegoat for their super lousy service. Hindi po natin sila pde pagawa sa umaga because if all utilities fix sa daytime it will cause traffic. They have to do it at night where traffic volume is low. They’re just lousy,” the politiko said, adding: “Converge bulok!”

Others have been complaining as there have been repeated internet downtimes among Converge users in the past week.
