Two US-based Pinoy restaurants made it to New York Times’ list of 50 Most Vibrant and Delicious Restaurants of 2021, attesting to the strength of the Filipino cuisine even overseas.
Among the entries was Seattle’s Archipelago Restaurant, headlined by the duo of Aaron Versoza and Amber Manuguid. The restaurant specializes in modern Filipino comfort food that brings Pinoys a taste of home.
Another restautrant that ended up in the list was Chicago based Kasama Restaurant, which serves “delicious, inventive treats” delivered by the husband-and-wife tandem—Chefs Genie Kwon and Timothy Flores.
Some of their must trys are the lumpia, adobo and pancit.
