Syblngs’ community supermarket chain steps up expansion

WalterMart, the SM Group’s Luzon-based supermarket chain, is further expanding its presence with the opening of new stores.

It will open a new branch in Bacoor, Cavite by the end of the month following the opening of outlets in Antipolo, Rizal. and E. Rodriguez Sr. Ave. in Quezon City.

To date, there are 23 WalterMart stores in Metro Manila, Rizal, Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Bulacan and Nueva Ecija.

“We aim to bring our stores closer to serve neighborhoods with our signature service excellence as people still look for trusted, convenient and safe ways to shop especially during these times,” said WalterMart president Jennilyn Uy.

Aside from physically expanding stores, WalterMart is also strengthening its digital presence. Customers may pay via flexible payment options such as cash on delivery or pick up, GCash, Paymaya, or BDO Pay.

No shopping fee and no minimum order is required.

Last September, WalterMart launched #14388 or the CallMeWally service—WalterMart’s “same day pabili (to buy) and delivery” service where people can dial in and call #14388 to order from WalterMart Supermarket & Department
