Bilyonaryo Piki Lopez is rewarding two of his brightest officers with executive decision-making posts in First Philippine Holdings (FPH).
The FPH board led by chairman and CEO Lopez is set to approve the promotion of Victor Emmanuel “Lito” B. Santos Jr. and Emmanuel Antonio “Noel” P. Singson from senior vice president to executive vice
president.
Santos, who has been with FPH for two decades, heads its legal and regulatory group and serves as its compliance officer. He joined FPH in 2001.
Santos, who is a graduate of De La Salle University and has an MBA
from Fordham University, used to work as director for global markets of Enron Singapore.
Singson, who has been the treasurer and CFO of FPH, has been responsible for structuring, negotiating and implementing multiple financing initiatives for Lopez-controlled First Gen and its subsidiaries, including the $1.5 billion Energy Development Corp. acquisition in 2007, the $544 million Sta. Rita refinancing in 2008, and the $360 million acquisition of British Gas shares in the First
Gas companies in 2012.
Singson is a graduate of Ateneo de Manila University (1987). He worked for Chemical Bank/JP Morgan Investment Bank and the Far East Bank and Trust Company before joing FPH.
