Bizarre food host Andres Zimmern is making an appeal on behalf of the World Food Programme.
The WFP chef and Independent Restaurant Coalition founder addressed netizens through a WFP video seeking support for the people of Yemen and other areas who are suffering from horrific degrees of hunger.
According to Zimmern, conflict affected individuals find it hard to survive day to day and resort to eating leaves just to sustain themselves.
He said that by donating to the WFP, they can ease the plight of the affected people by delivering much needed food and sustenance.
He was joined in his appeal by renowned chefs around the world who stressed the plight of individuals who are experiencing famine.
