“I just own a Porsche Turbo 4S.”
This was the reply of Pharmally corporate secretary and treasurer Mohit Dargani to Senator Dick Gordon who asked if he owned a Ferrari.
Gordon revealed during the Blue Ribbon Committee hearing on September 17 that Dargani and other Pharmally executives – president Twinkle, Mohit’s sister, and director Linconn Ong – snagged six luxury cars between themselves a few months after Pharmally (formed in September 2019 with a capital of P625,000) bagged P8 billion in contracts from April to June 2020.
“Wow! Napakagaganda ng sasakyan ng mga pinaktatakpan ng Pangulo! Mr. President, meron pa po kayong panahon para magbago. Iwas kayo nang iwas para sa mga tao ninyo na nagpapakasasa,” said Gordon in a message to President Rodrigo Duterte during the hearing.
In his presentation, Gordon claimed Mohit, who left for Los Angeles at the start of the Blue Ribbon Committee hearing a few weeks ago, bought Porsche 911 Turbo S worth P8.5 million.
His sister, Twinkle, bought Lamborghini Urus P13 million with P13 million.
Gordon’s research claimed Ong bought two Porsches – Carrera 4S worth P13.5 million and Cayenne VR6 P8.85 million – and a Lexus RCF worth P5.9 million.
Pharmally executives admitted in the hearings that they have no warehouse nor capital to bid for the multi-billion peso contracts as they had to seek the help of a presidential business special consultant
Michael Yang for suppliers and financiers.
