JG Summit founding director Lily Ngochua leaves board after 31 years

A long-time director of JG Summit, who oversees its Cebu businesses, has resigned from the board.

Lily G. Ngochua has left the JG Summit board effective September 13 for “personal reasons.”

Ngochua has been a director of JG since it was formed by the late taipan John Gokongwei in 1990.

The Maryknoll College graduate oversees JG Summit’s hotel and agro-industrial operations. She supervises the purchasing and treasury departments of URC Biscuit and Noodle Plants in Cebu. She is also the treasurer of its Cebu retail and mall business.
