DTI explores potential of Pinoy food products in HK

The Department of Trade and Industry is beefing up its drive to promote the business potential of Filipino flavors in Hong Kong.

DTI-Hong Kong has just started its campaign entitled #PhilippineFlavours with an event headlined by Chef Carlo, a key opinion leader in Hong Kong.

The event is a joint project of the Philippine Consulate General in Hong Kong (PCGHK), the Philippine Trade and Investment Center – Beijing, the Philippine Trade and Investment Center – Shanghai, the Philippine Trade and Investment Center – Guangzhou, the Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions, the Department of Trade and Industry – Export Marketing Bureau, the Department of Trade and Industry Baguio – Benguet, and the Office of Agriculture Counsellor of the Philippines in Beijing.

The event seeks to highlight the possibilities of Filipino food products in the Hong Kong market by underscoring the similar tastes of Pinoy and HK cuisines.
