Bilyonaryo Bienvenido “Benny” Tantoco Sr. has passed awy three months after celebrating his 100th birthday.

The Rustan’s group patriarch passed away on July 6, according to a report by Manila Bulletin citing a family member as a source.

Tantoco and his wife, Gliceria (who passed away in 1994 at the age of 70), founded Rustan’s in 1952 in their San Marcelino home in Ermita, Manila.

Tantoco left behind six children— Bienvenido Jr., Nedy, Menchu Lopez, Marilen Tantoco, Merl Pineda, and Tokie Enriquez.
