4th board seat: RSA’s son Paul Ang to join Top Frontier as director

The son of bilyonaryo and San Miguel Corp. boss Ramon S. Ang is getting his fourth board seat next month.

John Paul Ang, president and CEO of his family’s Eagle Cement, is up for nomination as director of Top Frontier Investment Holdings controlled by bilyonaryo Inigo Zobel.

This will be Paul’s fourth directorship after Eagle Cement, SMC and Petron.

Paul will take the seat of SMC CFO Ferdinand K. Constantino who is leaving Top Frontier’s board after 10 years.

The other Top Frontiers set for re-election in the July 9 stockholders’ meeting are Zobel, Ramon, Aurora T. Calderon, Consuelo M. Ynares-Santiago, Minita V. Chico-Nazario, and Teresita J. Leonardo-De Castro.

The 40-year old Ateneo graduate has been president and CEO of Eagle Cement since 2008 and South Western Cement since 2017. He is also vice-chairman of SMC Global Power Holdings.
