Ty-led Metropolitan Bank & Trust Co. has partnered with the United Architects of the Philippines to uphold the architecture profession.
To commemorate the centennial anniversary, Metrobank has kicked off a social media campaign to highlight the architectural heritage.
This forms part of Metrobank’s Cultural Heritage Education Program (CHEP), which recognizes the role of the government, non-government organizations, private institutions, academe and other cultural sectors in the preservation of the Philippines’ built heritage.
Other projects include lectures, talks, seminars, conferences and art exhibits.
Metrobank Art and Design Excellence (MADE) has provided a venue for artists to flourish and thrive since 1984.
Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, the foundation’s goal has been to help sustain artists financially, and give them an alternative platform to exhibit their work.
