Pangilinan, also known by his initials MVP, announced that the conglomerate has ordered COVID-19 vaccines from Moderna and AstraZeneca for its workforce.
Qualified dependents of employees and household members will also be covered by the vaccination program, according to a letter sent by Pangilinan to the MVP Group “family.”
‘We can reasonably expect to begin vaccinations by the 3rd quarter of 2021—hopefully, a bit sooner—and, if necessary, extending to 2022,” he said in the letter seen by Bilyonaryo.
Pangilinan assured that the conglomerate will shoulder the cost for the vaccination program and that adequate vaccines will be available for all employees.
Several conglomerates in the Philippines have also placed their own orders for COVID-19 vaccines to hasten economic recovery by vaccinating their employees against the deadly virus.
