No passing through: Subic Freeport locks its gates indefinitely

The Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) has shut all access to the Freeport’s five gates effective Monday, 16 March 2020.

“No pass through vehicles on all Subic Bay Freeport Gates: Tipo, Rizal, 14th Street, Kalaklan, and Morong Gates,” SBMA adminsitrator Amy Eisma said in her advisory.”Let’s make Subic Bay Freeport Covid-free,” she added.

The closure will be effective “until further notice.”

Eisma has also implemented a strict “no ID, no entry” policy until April 14, 2020.
