SMC packaging warehouse in Pandacan razed by fire

A warehouse owned by San Miguel Corporation has been consumed by a huge fire on Saturday morning, the Manila Public Information reported.

In a series of tweets, the Manila City Hall reported that the fire reached Task Force Bravo as it engulfed a warehouse owned by SMC subsidiary San Miguel Yamamura Packaging Corp. in Pandacan.

According to its website, the company provides packaging solutions for glass, plastics, metal, modls, flexibles, and PET. The company is a merger of local conglomerate SMC and Japan’s Nihon Yamamura Glass Company, Ltd.
