Not all heroes wear capes.
Philanthropist Nanette Medved-Po was quick to respond and act in the aftermath of Taal Volcano’s wrath.
As CEO of Hope Foundation, Nanette gathered donations from different parties and was able to distribute 31,608 water bottles to distribute to evacuees in Bauan, Batangas.
“We are in awe of our community. THANK YOU to our Hope Heroes for all your kind support,” Nanette captioned her post. She ended with a disclaimer that the organization is still open for more donations.
More than 125,000 families in Batangas have been displaced after Taal Volcano erupted Sunday afternoon.
