With his roadtrip buddy/automotive sidekick and youngest son Myles off to college life, the M. Lhuiller Financial Services president and CEO is dealing with “empty nest” syndrome.
“When our boy first started school, he had a serious struggle with Separation Anxiety from Joanna and I. He would sob for most of the school day, until it was time to come home. The subsequent days would present similar challenges. Last week, those tables were turned, as we dropped our youngest boy to his new found University in the UK. The joke is now on Us, as we deal with our own dose of Separation Anxiety from Myles. No matter how we convinced ourselves that we were prepared for this, we surely were NOT…. Our consolation is that he is doing very well in his new environment, exploring a new chapter in his life, a new World and applying the lessons and values that we have instilled in him. We miss him dearly, but have no doubt that he will carve a beautiful path through life, soar high, and leave a positive mark on this ever changing World. We could not ask for more.❤️you my boy,” @michael.lhuillier said.

I cherish every moment we have together and am so blessed to be guided by someone as loving and caring as you. Thinking of you always pops and can’t wait to see you again and go on our magical drives in the mountains ❤️?”
