Japanese discount chain Don Quijote plans to set up shop in the Philippines as part of its overseas push to boost its store network to 200.
Don Quijote has embarked on an aggressive rollout of stores across Asia, including Hong Kong, Taiwan, Philippines and Malaysia.
DonKi, as it is popularly called by loyal buyers in Japan, icaters to people of all ages and all walks of life, selling a wide range of goods including basic groceries, electronics, cosmetics and clothing.
