CEBU CITY — Globe Telecom unveiled its Globe myBusiness Corner in Cebu on Tuesday at the Globe Store in Ayala Center Cebu here.

Cleo Santos, sales head for Globe myBusiness, said the special corner the first in the Visayas and Mindanao area and the fourth to be opened nationwide — will cater to the needs of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSME) in Cebu.

According to Santos, MSMEs account for 99.5 percent of the total business operations in the country and are a major contributor to the growth of the Philippine economy.

The Globe myBusiness Corner features an interactive space for MSME entrepreneurs where they can have special one-on-one consultation sessions with MSME experts to help them in their digitalization journey.

“We want our MSMEs to have easy access to business solutions. Since the Globe Store is a major touchpoint for inquiries and is considered a trusted business channel hub, it plays a critical role in serving our MSMEs,” Santos said.
Also introduced during the launching was Robot “GIO” (Globe Information Officer), who will be asking entrepreneurs a series of questions that would help them identify their business’ digital level.
Globe myBusiness is also offering internet connection and mobile plans to help entrepreneurs fast-track their business’ tech-savviness.
“As the MSME arm of Globe, it is myBusiness’ goal to help every enterprise reach its full potential. Through Globe myBusiness Corner and our MSME experts, we hope we can guide entrepreneurs towards success,” said Santos.
