Lucio Tan to build new PNB tower along Paseo

A new skyscraper will rise in Makati.

Bilyonaryo Lucio Tan is out to make a fresh legacy for the Philippine National Bank (PNB).

Columnist Victor Agustin reports that the LT Group is reportedly earmarking P6.9 billion just to build a new office tower to house the head office of PNB and its sister firms just at the corner of Paseo de Roxas and Gil Puyat Avenues in he Makati CBD.

PNB owns an 8,000-square-meter plot of land, which will then be used as equity for the joint venture.

This comes after the Ayala-owned Bank of the Philippine Islands is poised to knock down their tower along Ayala Avenue to build a new office tower.
