Optimistic about the growth potential of air travel in the Philippines, Singapore Airlines sees load factor for flights to and from Manila hitting between 80 to 90 percent this year.

SIA expects a healthy increase in leisure and business travel.

“This market will continue to grow. We see a lot of opportunities in this market. We’d love to do more flights here Manila if we could,? said Balagopal Kundavara, general manager at SIA.

SIA flies four times a day between Manila and Singapore. It also flies to Singapore from Cebu and Davao.

The 5-star airline has deployed the Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner for the Philippine market, reflecting its commitment to provide customers with a premium travel experience.

The 787-10s have commenced services between Singapore and both Osaka and Perth last May, and Bali in July 2018.
