This will be the administration’s greatest legacy.
Members of the Duterte Cabinet joined forces to inspect the future government center in North Luzon.
Capturing the essence of “Build, Build, Build,” the economic cluster composed of Finance Secretary Carlos Dominguez III, Socioeconomic Planning Secretary Ernesto Pernia, Public Works Secretary Mark Villar, and Transportation Secretary Arthur Tugade brought members of the media to the New Clark City spanning Pampanga and Tarlac.
Currently under construction, the city will host the National Government Administrative Center that will house several agencies.
“World-class sports facilities and stadiums are also being built at the New Clark City in time for the country’s hosting of the 2019 Southeast Asian Games,” the Budget department said in a statement.
The officials also checked on the progress of key infrastructure projects in the area, which include the Subic-Clark Railway Project, the Clark International Airport Expansion and the new International Passenger Terminal.
