GMA Network Inc. said it maintained its lead in nationwide ratings, posting an audience share of 41.6 percent in June, ahead of rival ABS-CBN Corp.’s 38.3 percent.
Based on the latest data from ratings service provider Nielsen TV Audience Measurement, GMA led across all day parts in National Urban Television Audience Measurement (NUTAM).
GMA racked up an audience share of 37.2 percent in the morning block, 42.9 percent in the afternoon block, and 42.6 percent in the primetime block.
The Kapuso network also dominated in the viewer-rich areas of Urban Luzon and Mega Manila, registering an average share of 72 percent and 46.4 percent, respectively.
It likewise ruled Mega Manila with an audience share of 48.1 percent versus ABS-CBN’s 29.5 percent.
