It all started with a tip.

The Bureau of Customs and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency arrested two suspects who received a shipment carrying P20 million worth of illegal drugs.

In a statement, Customs said authorities at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport arrested Antonio Lobiano Baguinbin, 38, and Gundelina David, 64, for importing shabu pouches.

The successful operation came after the bureau received a tip from the United States Drug Enforcement Administration.

Baguinbin’s shipment came from Valencia, California which was declared as a car seat booster. Meanwhile, David’s package was declared to be carriying a crib.

Both are now under custody and will face charges, the bureau said.
