NEDA’s music video for economic growth wins in Kidlat Awards

This catchy tune won accolades for this government agency.

The National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) brought home an award for its millennial-themed song that explains the Philippines’ economic story.

The NEDA, together with creatives agency Dentsu Jayme Syfu, took the Silver Award for Best in Creative Use of Data and Best in Audio Craft at the prestigious Kidlat Awards for advertising.

The song, titled ?Tunog ng Progreso” and performed by singer Thyro, also won the Silver Award under the category Film: Best Audio Craft.

The song was released in 2017 in collaboration with arrangers and composers Allan Feliciano and Top Suzara, which used the data plots of the country’s economic history to create a scale which served as the melody for the song.
