Security Bank Corporation is inviting holders of the yuan to keep them in their bank. The lender is offering time deposit arrangements for the currency at a minimum placement of CNY 5,000 (about P41,000).
One needs to present 1 valid identification card, plus alien certification of registration for foreigners who want to open an account and avail of Security Bank’s deposit product.
According to the bank’s calculator, placing 5,000 yuan will earn 4.43 yuan in a month.
