Max?s Group to open 30 new restaurants overseas

Max?s Group Inc. of the Funtebella-Trota Group is stepping up its expansion overseas, aiming to open as much as 30 new stores this year.

The largest casual dining restaurant chain operator plans to add 20 to 30 new outlets across core brands Max?s Restaurant, Pancake House and Yellow Cab Pizza.

This will boost its international store network to around 75 to 80 by the end of 2018.

Pancake House currently operates 7 overseas franchised outlets in Malaysia and United Arab Emirates. It plans to add at least 2 more branches in the United Arab Emirates and open its first store in Qatar in 2018.

Other store brands under the group are Teriyaki Boy, Dencio?s, Meranti, Le Coeur De France, Maple, Kabisera, Singkit and Sizzlin? Steak.

Fraud trial opens of former Swedbank CEO
